Farmers' Market Benefit
Mississippi's WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP), run by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce in partnership with MSDH WIC, gives eligible participants — women, infants over 9 months old, and children — a one-time seasonal benefit to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs at authorized farmers markets and farmstands using a QR code, from June 1 through October 31 each year.
