Louisiana WIC Income Guidelines
WIC compares your household's gross income against 185% of the federal poverty guidelines, updated annually by the USDA. These guidelines apply in Louisiana from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

Automatic Income Eligibility in Louisiana
If anyone in your household already participates in Medicaid (including LA MOMS for pregnant women or LA CHIP for children), SNAP, or TANF (Louisiana's FITAP program), you automatically meet WIC's income requirement — no separate income documentation needed.
