The Produce Cash Value Benefit

Every participant receives a monthly Cash Value Benefit (CVB) to spend on fresh, frozen, or canned fruits and vegetables without added sugar, salt, or sauces. The current monthly CVB is $26 for children, $48 for pregnant or postpartum participants, and $52 for breastfeeding participants. Benefits do not roll over month to month, so use them before the end of each benefit period.

Ordering WIC Groceries Online

Massachusetts WIC participants can use their WIC card to order WIC-approved groceries through the Walmart app or at Walmart.com for pickup or home delivery at participating Walmart Supercenter locations across the state — no need to shop in person.

Farmers' Market Coupons

Each summer, eligible Massachusetts WIC participants receive separate WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) coupons to spend on fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables at approved farmers' markets and farmstands. These coupons are entirely separate from your regular monthly benefits and can only be used at participating markets, not grocery stores. Contact your local WIC office in early summer for current benefit amounts and distribution dates in your area.

Shopping Tips

Use the WICShopper app to scan barcodes at the store and instantly check whether a product is approved, view your balance by food category, and locate nearby WIC-authorized stores. Look for WIC shelf stickers for brand-specific items.
